
August 31, 2026. The
Office of Academic Resources and
Information Technology hosted a training
session on Scopus AI to empower
researchers for research and academic
discovery. Associate Professor Dr.
Sirilak Ketchaya, Vice President for
Digital Technology, presided over the
opening ceremony and delivered the
welcome address. Lecturer Benya
Whangmahaporn, Deputy Director of the
Academic Resource Center, delivered the
reporting address, while Assistant
Professor Dr. Kunyaphat
Thanakunwutthirot, the Deputy Director
of Quality Assurance and Revenue, also
attended the event.
The training
aimed to enhance the digital
competencies of faculty members and
staff, to utilize Scopus AI effectively
for research and discovery. Participants
also gained practical skills in
accessing online databases securely and
efficiently via the OpenAthens
system.
Associate Professor Dr.
Prasart Nuangchalerm from the Department
of Curriculum and Instruction, Faculty
of Education, Mahasarakham University,
as the guest speaker, led both
theoretical lectures and hands-on
workshops, sharing insights on practical
applications of Scopus AI in academic
research.

at Conference Room 1, 4th Floor,
Academic Resource Center.
