February 27, 2024. The Information Technology Center, Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, headed by Mr. Anothai Arunruang, Head of Network Systems and Internet department, and staff of Network Systems and Internet department met to plan a project to inspect information security standards in accordance with the new ISO/IEC 27001 Version 2022 standards for fiscal year 2024 with Albatross Cybersec Company Limited as a consultant.
ISO 27001 is a standard in the information security standard system that assists organizations in systematically understanding risks and weaknesses in data protection. Operating in accordance with ISO 27001 increases information security, reduces risk, and protects information from theft. To meet international standards, data protection is prioritized in the university's information systems. The new version is now updated to 2022 to cover personal data protection and security threats. The meeting was held at the conference room of the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology.
